Mix Consultancy

$25 AUD (per track) +GST

An in depth look at your premaster, with detailed information on how to get it ready for mastering. Great for developing your ears/mixdown skills. Also saves you money if you are able to make changes to send a good stereo file for mastering.

Stereo Master

$90 AUD (per track) +GST

If you are 100% happy with your mixdown then the Stereo Master option is the one for you. The final step in making sure that your track shines and stands out in the crowd. Just be aware that any issues within your mix can be made louder during the process of mastering, so it is imperative that you are happy with your mixdown. If you are unsure, it is best to opt for either the Stem Master or Mixdown & Master options.

All masters will be returned as a 24 Bit, 44.1 kHz master .wav file unless prior arrangement has been made.

Alternate versions (e.g. Radio Edit, Dub, etc) will be charged out at $30 AUD +GST each.

Stem Master

$130 AUD (per track - up to 7 Stems) +GST

Stem mastering is different from 2 track stereo mastering. Stem mastering uses a number of grouped instruments such as drums, bass, synths, guitars, vocals, pads, effects. This allows us the additional scope to discreetly enhance and optimise any specific set of instruments within a mix. It also affords enhancement based on the summing of the stems. Additionally, standard stereo mastering processes are included. Stem mastering can produce improved sonic results and increased depth and dimension to your master.

EP-LP-Album-Packs

$80 AUD (per track - Stereo Master) +GST

$120 AUD (per track - Stem Master) +GST

A choice of either Stereo Mastering or Stem Mastering for situations where the client needs multiple tracks mastering at the same time. Perfect for EP/LP/Albums/Remix Packs etc. This option not only saves you money, but more importantly ensures that all the tracks playback with similarity and coherence.

Alternate versions (e.g. Radio Edit, Dub, etc) will be charged out at $30 AUD +GST for Stereo passes and $45 AUD +GST for Stem passes.

Mixdown & Master

$500 AUD (per track - up to 20 Stems) +GST

Take the pressure off yourself. By choosing a full mixdown of your track to be done before the mastering process allows us to use a surgical approach to each individual track and ensures our client the best possible product in the end. Kognitiv Mastering can mixdown your track to maximise the sonic potential of your track and then master it for you. It really is the all in one package.

Vinyl Master

$120 AUD (per track) +GST

Mastering for vinyl is the process of creating a separate master that can be cut into a vinyl record without added unwanted distortion or phase issues.

Formats/specs to be determined by your plant before ordering. Any changes after the master has been delivered will incur a $20 surcharge.
